See below how the actions of our Management Team and our retailers continue to make a difference:
- The Bayfair Recycling Programme diverts 45% of the Centre’s waste from landfill.
- We recycle over 150 sacks of shrink wrap each year…This is enough to spread over 46 rugby pitches.
- Over 50 tonnes of organic waste is diverted from landfill each year… This is the equivalent to more than 240,000 burgers!
- We have reduced consumption by over 1.4 million kilowatt hours… This is equivalent to unplugging Bayfair for 6 months.
- We divert 40 tonnes of paper from landfill each year…This is equal to the weight of a mature mammoth.
