Bring the kids along to roller skate at our groovy pop-up disco rink! We have lights, music and Skatescool Tauranga will be on hand to teach those who want to learn. The coaches will cover basic instruction and tips.
Sessions are free and are on weekdays both weeks for the School Holidays (28 Sept – 2 Oct and 5 Oct – 9 Oct). Daily sessions times are:
9.00 – 10.00am
10.30 – 11.30am
12.30 – 1.30pm
2.00 – 3.00pm
Bookings recommended through the link below. If spaces are available these will be on a first in first served basis and you will be required to sign in at the door.
Sessions are limited to 35 children and are for children 5 years+. Please ensure you arrive on time to hear the safety briefing and skating tips before the lights are dimmed, and remember to bring a pair of socks.
Skates and knee pads are provided or you are welcome to bring your own. If you plan to bring your own skates please ensure they are clean and in good safe working order - please see one of the coaches on arrival to check if you are not sure. Feel free to bring along a helmet for added safety if you would like. All equipment that is provided is sanitised between sessions.

A reminder to please practise good hygiene and stay home if you are sick. While at the disco please keep 1 metre from people you don’t know, where possible. Face masks will be available if you would like to wear one, or bring your own. Keep track of where you have been by scanning in with the Covid-19 Tracer App on entry.
Sensory Skating Session:
Session at 3.30-4.30pm on Wednesday 30th September for families of children with sensory processing disorders. A safe non-judgemental environment eliminating factors such as crowds, loud noises, close proximity to people, music and bright lights.
